Zac Efron and Taylor Swift
Taylor Swift and Zac Efron lend their voices to characters in the animated kids’ flick Dr. Seuss’ The Lorax, but that was the last thing Ellen DeGeneres wanted to talk to them about when they stopped by for an interview on her show. Ellen was more interested in finding out if the two co-stars are an item. Sadly for Ellen, Taylor had no saucy deets to reveal, only a denial. “We are not a couple,” Taylor said. “He is awesome, [but] we are not a couple, though.
“People get together when they’re shooting movies, co-stars,” Taylor continued, “but not like animated movie co-stars.”
Taylor and Zac may not be dating, but they’re spending plenty of time together. Enough time for Taylor to teach Zac how to play the guitar. Zac demonstrated his new Taylor-taught skills as they took to their guitars to sing a song about Ellen and how “weird” their appearances on her show always are, to the tune of Foster The People‘s “Pumped Up Kicks.”
And as an adorable bonus, Taylor shared a video of her kitten Meredith, well, being adorable.
