Usher says his relationship with the woman he loves has reach its climax, but he finds himself wanting to be with her again. But how far is he willing to go to make that happen? Is he willing to make it happen at all?
The R&B crooner finds himself facing a serious conundrum as he contemplates his next move in the music video for his sizzling, Diplo-produced new single “Climax.” Should he off the guy who has her now to get her back, or abandon the plan, drive away, and move on?
We’re taken through the suspenseful storyline with shots of Usher deep in thought in his car parked outside of his lady’s house and intense shots of an emotional Ush performing the song to the camera.
The heart of the dramatic visuals is essentially a metaphor for the song’s lyrics, which paint the picture of a deep fear of commitment. Should Usher commit to this relationship, go in to it with guns blazing and steal his woman’s heart? Or should he back away from it and leave it alone for good? We won’t spoil the video, so watch it below and see how Usher handles the situation.
“Climax” is the first single from Usher’s as-yet-untitled new album, due this year.
