Jermaine Jones - FOX
It seems American Idol season 11′s resident “gentle giant” Jermaine Jones isn’t quite so gentle.
TMZ reports Idol producers have disqualified a contestant for concealing a criminal past that includes “multiple crimes,” one involving violence. The contestant even has outstanding warrants — another issue that was not disclosed to producers.
Footage of Idol producers confronting the contestant and informing him or her of the disqualification will air on Wednesday night’s show.

Although TMZ’s report did not include the name of the contestant, it appear the burly baritone is the culprit. Jones tweeted not long after the story broke: “Awww I will no longer b on the show.”
Jones’ latest omission of truth isn’t the only instance. Jones’ father reached out to TMZ earlier this week to blast his son for lying about their strained relationship. Jones has said on the show that he and his mom were abandoned by his dad years ago, but his dad says those are all lies for TV and their relationship has always been just fine.

I thought this guy had a little chip on his shoulder. He didnt seem so gentle on last weeks show.
