Before Justin Bieber ever stepped foot into a studio to work on his new album, Believe, he teased his upcoming sessions with Drake. Now that those sessions are wrapped, we know more about what came out of them, namely a hot new collaboration.
The Canadian sensations have teamed up for a track called “Right Here,” Bieber confirmed. During an interview with the UK’s Capital FM, Bieber dished a few deets about the Hit-Boy-produced song. “It’s a smash,” Justin said. “People are gonna love it. It just rides so smoothly. It’s me and Drake, so it’s good.”
According to MSN Entertainment in the UK, who got an early listen to the currently-unfinished tune at a playback session Justin held last night (April 23), “Right Here” does indeed sound good. “Justin sounded pretty Drake-like himself on this Drake-like track that funnily enough is gonna feature Drake,” MSN wrote. “We only got to hear the first verse but it’s a swaggerific slice of ballsy hip-hop-swaying R&B.”
We’ll get to hear the finished product when Believe is released on June 19.
