Video: Rihanna Performs “Birthday Cake” And “Talk That Talk” On Saturday Night Live

Rihanna

Rihanna brought massive amounts of sex appeal to her latest stint as musical guest on Saturday Night Live. Dressed in all black everything, Rihanna started off her performance with an intro of the fan-favorite “Birthday Cake.” RiRi got sultry and sexy while performing the song which then transitioned into “Talk That Talk”–sans Jay-Z.

This is Rihanna’s third time performing on SNL. The first time she appeared on the show was in 2009 when she performed “Russian Roulette” and “Hard” with Young Jeezy from her album “Rated R.” She then returned in 2010 for performances of “What’s My Name” and “Only Girl (In The World)” from her smash album “LOUD.” During both appearances, she starred in the uber popular “Shy Ronnie” SNL digital shorts with cast regular Andy Samberg.

“Talk That Talk” is the title-track of Rihanna’s latest album. The album debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 albums chart after selling 197,000 copies in its first week out. Watch the performance below.
