After bringing on the sexiness with her performance of “Birthday Cake” and “Talk That Talk,” Rihanna returned for a second performance on Saturday Night Live. This time, she took on her latest single, “Where Have You Been.”
Like the song’s music video, this performance was heavy on dancing. The stage set up mimicked the video’s tribal feel and Rihanna turned into full on Danceanna, showing out with her dancers. This is the first time Rihanna has performed the song on national television.
After teasing for several weeks, the music video for the single was released earlier this week. The video broke VEVO’s 24-hour views record, raking in an impressive 4.9 million views in its first day out (that record has since been broken by Justin Bieber‘s “Boyfriend” music video).
“Where Have You Been” is taken from Rihanna’s latest album, “Talk That Talk.” The album, which features the Billboard Hot 100 smash “We Found Love,” is in stores and available at online retailers now. Watch the performance below.
