Video: Adam Levine Talks Acting, Christina Aguilera On ‘Late Night With Jimmy Fallon’

Adam Levine

Adam Levine has a packed work schedule. When he’s not working with his Grammy Award-winning band Maroon 5, he’s coaching new talent on NBC’s hit reality singing competition The Voice.

His schedule is about to get even more busy though. The singer appeared on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon to talk about his new acting roles on the big screen and small screen. “I’m in a movie called ‘Can A Song Save Your Life,'” Levine said referring to the John Carney-directed project. “He thought of me and I told him that I wasn’t an actor and had never acted and this didn’t seem to bother him very much. And now I think maybe I can act!”

“Maybe…hopefully. I know…I think,” he added about his acting abilities. Way to sound sure of yourself Adam. He’ll also have a role on the FX’s hit TV show “American Horror Story.” “That’s another acting job isn’t it,” he said.

After tackling the hot subject of acting, Jimmy switched things over to Adam’s current relationship with his fellow The Voice coach, pop megastar Christina Aguilera. When asked if they hated each other, he quickly replied “No.” “We don’t hate each other. We really like each other actually,” he said. “She’s great. We had a rough start and we both were diva-ed out a little bit–I say that with kindness. But no, we’re cool.”
