Rumors of a new Christina Aguilera single being on the way have swirled around for months, but it’s finally looking like there’s some solid, believable details emerging.
According to Billboard, citing an anonymous source, Xtina will release her new single in “early August.” The unnamed track is reportedly produced by pop hitmaker Max Martin, and will feature the lyrics “All I want to do is what you wanted.”
The track will be the first single from Xtina’s highly-anticipated follow-up to her 2010 album, Bionic.
In other Xtina news, she’s hard at work filming the third season of NBC’s hit singing competition The Voice alongside returning coaches Cee-Lo Green, Adam Levine, and Blake Shelton. It begins airing on the peacock network on September 10.
