It’s going to be a fierce battle for the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200 albums chart next week, with new albums by Pink, Kanye West‘s G.O.O.D. Music, and hit-making newcomer Carly Rae Jepsen in stores, but it’s looking like the Pink will come out on top.
According to Hits Daily Double, the “Blow Me (One Last Kiss)” songstress is predicted to sell between 200-225k copies of her new set, The Truth About Love. Should things go as projected, this album will be Pink’s very first No. 1 album on the chart.
Ye’s label collective, Cruel Summer, which features appearances by Jay-Z, 2 Chainz, R. Kelly, John Legend, Big Sean, and Pusha T, will come in around 170-190k sold in its first week of release.
Jepsen, who is currently a hot presence on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart with tracks like the ubiquitous “Call Me Maybe” and the Owl City-featured “Good Time,” won’t even come close to Pink and Kanye. Her breakthrough set, Kiss, is slated for sales of 35-40k.
