Nicki Minaj
Nicki Minaj paid the ladies of The View a visit today, and boy did she have a lot to talk about. The wig-loving, platinum-selling rapstress talked about a long list of things, including cultivating her fashion sense since she was a little girl, leaving the parenting of her younger fans to their parents, becoming affiliated with Lil Wayne and Young Money, and her new fragrance.
But, of course, the ladies seemed most interested in getting all of the deets about Nicki’s new gig as an American Idol judge. Nicki said the job was “going pretty good,” and refused to point out which of her fellow judges — Mariah Carey, Keith Urban, and Randy Jackson — she gets along with the most. “I like all of them, actually,” she said. “I look up to all of them in my own way.”
Despite the rumors of friction between Nicki and Mariah, Nicki had nothing but good things to say about the supreme diva. “Of course, I worked with Mariah very early on in my career, so I’m really grateful that she gave me that look very early on,” she said. “And she’s really, really funny.”
