Taylor Swift‘s album, Red, has only been in stores for a week, but she’s already aching to hit the road to perform the new songs. Fans aching to see the country superstar live are in luck; Swift has just announced the dates for her North American Red tour.
The trek kicks off with two nights in Omaha, NE on March 13 and 14, then finds Taylor performing in cities like Miami, FL (April 10), Atlanta, GA (April 18 and 19), Washington DC (May 11 and 12), Philadelphia, PA (July 20), Chicago, IL (August 10), and Los Angeles, CA (August 19 and 20), before wrapping with a three-night stay in Nashville, TN on September 19-21.
“I didn’t think I could be any more excited about my RED album, but then I start thinking about how I’m going to put the new show together for The RED Tour,” Taylor said in a statement. “I have so many ideas about how to really bring this music to life, and I can’t wait to share the new show with all my fans!”
Opening for Taylor will be her good friend and “Everything Has Changed” co-star Ed Sheeran.
Tickets begin going on sale to the general public on November 16. For presales and VIP packages, visit Taylor’s official website.
As previously reported, Red is set to make a monster debut at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart on the strength of well over 1 million copies sold in its first week out.
