Nicki Minaj fans were rather upset with Alicia Keys when the singer/songwriter premiered the music video for her single “Girl On Fire” with no sign of the rapper in sight. Barbz and Kenz are now getting their wish as the official music video for the “Inferno” version of the song makes its debut online.
The clip is much like the original version with Alicia playing a strong woman who does it all. Nicki is tagged to the beginning of the video and then embedded into another scene towards the middle. It’s a real shame the two couldn’t do a real video together–like, actually together. The results would have been fire…pun intended.
“Girl On Fire” is the latest single and title-track from Alicia Keys’ new album. The set will be released on November 27. Watch the music video below.
