Video: Kelly Clarkson And Vince Gill Perform “Don’t Rush” At 2012 CMA Awards

Kelly Clarkson and Vince Gill

Kelly Clarkson and Vince Gill delivered a show-stopping performance of their latest single, “Don’t Rush,” on last night’s (November 1) 2012 CMA Awards.

No, there was no flashing dancing or dramatic stage props. The two stars dazzled by simply singing, and singing well for their performance. Kelly sang flawlessly alongside Vince as the country icon strummed on his guitar while adding smooth vocals.

This isn’t Kelly’s first foray into country music. The pop singer won a number of country music awards for her single, “Don’t You Wanna Stay,” with Jason Aldean–the two even performed the song at the 2012 CMAs.

WOW – that was Great. I loved VInce ever since the 1st time I heard him sing When I Call Your Name. This song is the first one I’ve heard him do in years that really displayed his STAR quality. And Kelly Clarkson has a wonderful voice – the harmony between her &VInce is fabulous – hope they do more duets!!
