One Direction
With all the shameless plugs we’ve seen from their creator so far this season on X Factor USA, you had to have seen this coming. Boyband One Direction, who were manufactured by Simon Cowell on the UK edition of XF, took the stage to perform on tonight’s first viewer-voted results show.
The guys – Niall, Zayn, Liam, Harry and Louis — opened the show, and their two-song set, with a performance of their peppy new single, “Live Like We’re Young,” complete with a shower of bouncing balls raining down on the screaming fangirls. They later came back with a new song, a tender ballad to make the girls swoon called “Little Things,” from their sophomore album, Take Me Home, which is being released on November 13.
