Finally getting the chance to perform for America’s votes brought out the best in some of the contestants on the X Factor USA. While some singers cracked under pressure–hard (ahem, CeCe Frey), this bunch of performers seriously rose to the occasion and dazzled the crowd, moving America to place votes behind them.
Take a look at the performances the really rocked:
Tate Stevens: Tate brought cowboy goodness to his rocking performance of Bon Jovi’s “Wanted Dead Or Alive.” No wonder he currently sits at No. 1 on the X Factor rankings. He’s proving to be one to watch out for.
Diamond White: Diamond got the boot but she was given a second chance at the competition from all the judges and she made sure to put it to good use. She slayed her performance of Whitney Houston’s “I Have Nothing. ” It’s hard to believe she’s just 13 years old!
Carly Rose Sonenclar: Ah, Carly Rose! There’s little wrong this child can do! Carly put her little heart and soul into her performance of Bruno Mars’ “It Will Rain,” even getting a little emotional at the end. The judges absolutely adored the performance and we did too.
Fifth Harmony: Lylas then 1432 now Fifth Harmony has had it rough with the constant name changes. They haven’t allowed that to slow down their performance in the competition though. With what we all hope is their final name change, the fivesome finally grooved as a group with a strong performance of Christina Perri’s “A Thousand Years.”
