One week til showtime and the list of performers for the 2012 American Music Awards keeps getting longer. AMA producers announced today that Kelly Clarkson, Justin Bieber, Carly Rae Jepsen, Psy, The Wanted, and Swizz Beatz accompanied by Ludacris and Chris Brown will all be taking the stage at the 40th anniversary edition of the awards show.
This latest batch of performers join already announced acts, including Carrie Underwood, Christina Aguilera, Ke$ha, Linkin Park, Nicki Minaj, No Doubt, Pink, Pitbull, Taylor Swift and Usher.
Rihanna and Nicki Minaj lead the 2012 AMA nominees with four nominations each. RiRi’s vying for awards in Favorite Pop/Rock Female, Favorite R&B Female, Favorite Album R&B, and Artist Of The Year, and Nicki’s up for Favorite Pop/Rock Female, Favorite Album Pop/Rock, Favorite Hip Hop Artist, and Favorite Album Hip Hop/Rap.
The 2012 American Music Awards will air live from Los Angeles on November 18 on ABC.
