The competition is getting stiffer on season three of The Voice. Before the top six were revealed and coach Christina Aguilera was left without a team, the top eight took the stage to give remarkable performances.

With just about everyone left in the competition giving great performances, it was hard to pick out just a few to highlight. Nevertheless, we took on the feat for your viewing pleasure. Here are the three performances on this week’s live performance episode of The Voice that simply rocked.

Cody Belew: Cody was eliminated during this week’s live results show but at least he went out on a super high note. Bam Bam Belew blew the roof off of the place with a rocking performance of Queen’s “Somebody To Love.”

Nicholas David: Soul was on the menu and Nicholas served up healthy portions with a killer performance of Marvin Gaye’s “What’s Going On.” He showed off his rich vocals and turned all of the coaches into fans.

Cassadee Pope: The dream team of Blake Shelton and Cassadee Pope picked out another great song for this week’s live show: Michelle Branch’s “Are You Happy Now.” Cassadee and her guitar did a whole lot of slaying, impressing all of the coaches yet again!
