Alicia Keys touched on hip hop-kissed R&B and blues lounge soul with the three versions of her latest hit, “Girl On Fire,” but she neglected to offer up a rock version of the tune. Pink took matters into her own hands with she covered “Girl On Fire” for the BBC Live Lounge this morning (December 5).
Turns out “Girl On Fire” totally works as a pop-rock song, and Pink sounded like perfection belting the chorus.
While at the Live Lounge, Pink also gave performances of her own songs, “Blow Me (One Last Kiss)” and “Try,” both taken from her new album, The Truth About Love. Listen to the performances below:
