While Justin Bieber‘s manager, Scooter Braun, is making headlines for commenting on the lack of nominations he received for the 55th annual Grammy Awards, the pop star himself doesn’t seem to be sweating it. Backstage before headlining last night’s Z100 Jingle Ball concert, Bieber briefly commented on the Grammy snub. “Thank you to all my beautiful fans out there. I don’t need a Grammy to have your love. You guys are still incredible,” Biebz told the Z100 cameras after wrapping an interview.
Braun showed up during the interview to clarify his feelings on the snub. He says it “wasn’t a burnt up thing” when he tweeted about the snub and that he “just said what I thought.”
“I think [Justin is] very talented and I think in years to come he’ll win many Grammys,” Braun said, “but I think what you’ll see tonight is what’s really important.”
Braun definitely seemed at least toasted during his series of tweets. “Grammy board u blew it on this one,” read one tweet. “This time he deserved to be recognized and I dont really have any kind nice positive things to say about a decision i dont agree with.”
