VH1 Divas 2012 is all about the genre of dance and there’s no way to honor it than to recognize the late, great Donna Summer. To pay tribute to the diva Kelly Rowland, Keri Hilson and Adam Lambert graced the stage to perform some of her biggest hits.

Kelly Rowland, looking much like a young Summer, started off the tribute performance with “Bad Girls.” Keri Hilson then appeared on stage to sing “She Works Hard For The Money.” Both did a good job vocally but it wasn’t until Adam took the stage with “Hot Stuff” that this tribute really get turned up. All three came together to close the performance out with “Last Dance.”

Earlier in the night, Lambert opened the show with a performance of David Bowie‘s “Let’s Dance.” Watch the Donna Summer tribute performance below.

  1. Adam Lambert is an incredible performer/host/singer/etc etc

  2. I watched to see Adam Lambert and he did not diappoint. First a Bowie song then singing Hot Stuff wearing the red feather jacket he wore with Queen when he sang “Dragon Attack.” He proved he can carry a show with his speaking and singing. I’m not a huge fan of Madonna and that song, and he did the best he could with the sound mixing problems. He is a consumate live performer, and, despite all the noise and screaming fans, he was great. I never heard any “ums” or “ah” by Adam. He is a clear speaker and should get other jobs speaking. I am happy with the results.

  3. Adam is divalicious! he steals the show! Lookin’ HOT HOT in that little white jacket!! He needs his own show!!

  4. I love this performance so much! Three great singers performing together. And Adam Lambert is so hot!

  5. Loved this Donna Summer tribute….And might I add…Adam Lambert is an incredibly hot talented artist…Awesome job at hosting and performing…You would never know that this was his first time hosting and a live show at that…

  6. Very nice, but it REALLY makes you realize the vocal talent that we’ve lost in Donna Summer. No one EVER has sounded, and was on point, as she was in her prime.

I do appreciate their tribute though..
