Adam Levine is flexing his comedy muscles by hosting Saturday Night Live for the first time. The Maroon 5 frontman started off his SNL hosting duties with an opening monologue that brought out some famous familiar faces to spoof NBC’s hit reality singing competition “The Voice.”
Since this is Adam’s first time hosting, he’ll need all the help he can get. Sitting in the big red spinning chairs hoping to be Adam’s SNL hosting coach was Andy Samberg, Cameron Diaz and legendary comedian Jerry Seinfeld. They all try to win him over but Adam takes Cameron’s advice to get shirtless so it looks like she’s the winner.
While this is Adam’s first time hosting, he’s definitely no stranger to the legendary sketch comedy show. He and his M5 cohorts have played musical guest on the show four times now with their latest appearance happening just last November. Watch the funny opening monologue below.
