Video: Kendrick Lamar Performs “Swimming Pools (Drank)” And “Poetic Justice” On Saturday Night Live

While Maroon 5‘s Adam Levine worked on his acting chops by playing host on Saturday Night Live, the musical guest slot was left up to rapper Kendrick Lamar. Lamar made his SNL debut last night (January 26) by performing two songs from her latest album.

Kendrick started things off with his song “Swimming Pools (Drank)” and then closed out his SNL performance duties with “Poetic Justice.” Both songs appear on Kendrick’s album “Good Kid, m.A.A.d City.” The critically-acclaimed album debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 albums chart when it was released late last year with 242,000 copies sold in its first week out.
