Jimmy Fallon and Justin Timberlake
It was a historic night on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon as Justin Timberlake brought his epic Timberweek takeover to a close.
All week long, JT dazzled with performances of new songs from his forthcoming new album, The 20/20 Experience, out March 19, and cracked us up with hilarious skits. It was only right that JT went out with a bang. He teamed with Jimmy and unleashed the fourth installment of their always-amazing History of Rap, which included their takes on hits by Beastie Boys, Run DMC, LL Cool J, Busta Rhymes, Missy Elliott, Snoop Dogg, Biggie, Nelly, Jay-Z, 50 Cent, Trinidad James, Eminem, and more.
Later, JT took the stage to revisit some of his own history with a medley performance of hits from his first two albums. The medley included “Like I Love You,” “My Love,” “Cry Me A River” (Juicy J‘s “Bandz A Make Her Dance” and Jay-Z and Kanye West‘s “N*ggas In Paris” somehow found a way into the mix), and “Senorita.”
Timberweek was a great one. On Monday, JT sat down with Jimmy to talk about hosting SNL, his slight beef with Kanye West, and performed “Pusher Love Girl.” On Tuesday, he brought “SexyBack” with a barbershop quartet rendition of his smash hit and performed “Mirrors.” On Wednesday, he sang “Row Row Row Your Boat” dress as Michael McDonald alongside the real Michael McDonald and performed “Let The Groove Get In.” And on Thursday, he appeared in a side-splitting summer camp skit and performed the sexy “Strawberry Bubblegum.”
