Selena Gomez Debuts “Come And Get It” Single Cover, Sets 2013 MTV Movie Awards Performance

Selena Gomez wants you to “Come & Get It.” The pop star/actress is gearing up to release her highly-anticipated, Ester Dean-penned new single on April 8.

Ahead of the premiere, Selena is teasing her fans with the track’s saucy cover art, which shows the Spring Breakers cutie looking fierce and feisty in red.

Selena’s fans won’t have to wait long to see their favorite perform “Come & Get It” live. MTV has just announced that Selena will give the debut performance of her new single at the 2013 MTV Movie Awards on April 14.

“It is my first performance back as a musician,” Selena told MTV. “I’m so nervous! I think it’s really cool, ’cause I got to take a year off of music and really be a part of great movies and work with great people, so I thought it would be perfect that I kind of go into music again through MTV and then the Movie Awards. So I thought it would be appropriate. I’m so stoked!…I think for the performance, I’m going to try to do things that nobody’s ever really seen from me before and kind of take it to the next level. So hopefully I’ll do a good job.”

Selena’s as-yet-untitled new album, the follow-up to 2011’s When The Sun Goes Down, is expected to be released this summer.
