The Voice season four has got a new top 12. The final 12 singers were revealed last night (May 8) in a dramatic live elimination results show and some of the choices were tough for the superstar coaches to make.

For Usher‘s team, America saved Michelle Chamuel and Vedo, leaving Ush to choose between Cathia and Josiah Hawley. Usher decided to save former male model Josiah who had a much better performance night that Cathia.

Blake Shelton‘s two female singers, Danielle Bradbery and Holly Tucker, were both saved by America’s votes. Singer Justin Rivers was eliminated when Blake decided to give his save to The Swon Brothers who become the first duo to make it this far in history of the competition.

Sasha Allen and Kris Thomas received the most votes from Shakira‘s team and immediately advanced to the next round. Since she felt she could help his career more, Shaki picked Garrett Gardner to continue on, eliminating Karina Iglesias.

Over on Team Adam Levine, Judith Hill and Amber Carrington both received America’s save while Adam struggled to choose between Sarah Simmons and Caroline Glaser. He ultimately picked Sarah to move on with just seconds left on air.

They’re all so talented this year the results shows are getting tense. It was obvious that Adam was crushed over choosing between Sarah and Caroline. I was on the edge of my seat toward the end and I’m glad I got to see this result show live. Between Twitter, Facebook, and my friends texting me, it’s pretty much impossible to avoid spoilers on The Voice, and spoilers really ruin contest reality shows. Lately however, I’ve been pulling a few hours of overtime at DISH every night, so I was actually on the train ride home when The Voice airs. That’s why it’s been so great to have DISH Anywhere! It’s awesome because it gives me the ability to stream all of my live TV channels and/or DVR recordings to my phone, so I was able to catch this show on the ride home, which is a great way to pass the time on an otherwise tedious commute.
