Taylor Swift

Taylor Swift had everyone seeing red during her performance at last night’s (June 5) 2013 CMT Music Awards.

With her red guitar in hand, Taylor, who was also dressed in red, performed her album’s title-track…”Red.” Swift toned down some of the stage antics from her past awards show performances (remember her GRAMMYs performance?!) and focused on singing and playing guitar. She even got all rock-n-roll chick by flinging her hair about during a guitar breakdown.

“Red” is the title-track of Taylor’s latest smash hit album. Watch the performance below.

  1. I think this entire performance was done on autotune, and she continues to be a disgrace. She embarrasses herself by dancing and singing to everyone else’s performances in a way that is clearly designed just to draw attention to herself — her main goal in life. Sad. Carrie Underwood, on the other hand, sings her heart out for REAL every time she’s on stage, in any setting, and just the amazing collection of people with whom she’s done fabulous duets — from Steven Tyler, to Tony Bennett, to MICK JAGGER, and, of course, with her pals in the country genre — illustrate the industry’s respect for her. Sorry I did the comparison thing again, but….
