The adorable, but often D’oh!-inspiring American Idol alum turned country singer walked the red carpet last night (November 11) at the Country Music Association Awards in Nashville debuting her newly red-dyed locks.

She paired her new hue with a form-hugging shiny dress that flares a bit at the bottom. Sure, it made her look just a bit like the Little Mermaid, but we totally dig! And we hope that just because her hair color is darker, Kel won’t lose that aw-shucks charm we’ve grown to love!

Gwen Stefani is usually dressed very sporty-sexy, and that tends to make people forget that she’s something of a blonde goddess. She put everyone back on notice at Fashion Group International’s 26th annual Night of Stars last night at Cipriani in New York City.

Ditching her signature red lip, the No Doubt frontwoman went for a nude touch on her smoochers while donning a slinky turtleneck/halter dress, accessorized with a leather belt, black stockings and black platform pumps. Her golden locks were tousled just slightly for added sex appeal.

Can you believe she turned 40 this year? We should only be so lucky to sip from her fountain of youthful awesomeness.

The guys of Tokio Hotel had an extremely busy day yesterday. They dropped by MTV studios for a photoshoot, performance on Alexa Chung and fan interview with our friends over at MTV Buzzworthy. All that is enough to leave you looking worn and awful when it’s about time to leave. But worn and awful seemed to escape lead singer Bill Kaulitz. What was left was sheer awesomeness.

Preface: Rihanna is quite possibly the hottest chick who ever migrated to these 50 states we call the USA. Over her short, but prosperous four year career, she’s gone from adorable island girl, to world renown pop princess (and I welcome the debate about who’s really the princess because I have stats ready!). But not only that, after she shed her long, honey-colored locks for her famous short black tresses and went all edgy on us, she earned a place high on the fashion trendsetters list.

She can make almost any look scorching hot — new emphasis is placed on ALMOST after feasting my eyes on pictures from her latest outing.

The Bajan goddess is in NYC to work on her new album that is sure to boost said pop princess status even further and decided to switch her look up a bit. That included plum lipstick –which is almost always a no-no — and chunky blond highlights. If that wasn’t enough, she wore some impossibly long Stella McCartney thigh-high boots under a frilly steel colored skirt.

Not even the gorg creature that Rihanna is can make this look a winner. Oh, the pain…

It was the new school meeting the old school. Pop music’s daring divas Lady GaGa and Madonna posed together as they attended Marc Jacob’s fashion show at the NY State Armory yesterday during New York’s fashion week.

A super adorable Avril Lavigne presented her clothing line, Abbey Dawn, in a runway show at the Metropolitan Pavilion.

Katy Perry took in multiple shows yesterday but she walked away with the best swag from the Victoria’s Secret fashion week suite at the Bryant Park Hotel.

Ciara also made the rounds yesterday. She’s snapped above in two hot looks for the Tony Cohen show and the Thakoon show.

Kelly Rowland was a vision in pearls at the Jill Stuart show. She added a different touch of old Hollywood glam to her look at the Tracy Reese show with a netted hat.

Keri Hilson showed some leg in two hot dresses as she attended shows for Tracy Reese and Tadashi Shoji.

Jadyn Maria, who is signed to Ne-Yo’s Compound Entertainment, posed with fashion designer Tony Cohen as she attended his show at Bryant Part.

Grammy winner Adele, who will soon perform on VH1’s Divas, posed with designer Barbara Tfank at her presented at Milk Studios.

The 2009 MTV Video Music Awards haven’t even started yet, but already Lady GaGa is the talk of the internet.

Not only did she totally undercut her fellow blonde diva Miss Piggy by taking Kermit the Frog as her date (and kissed him!) but she packed everything she could on her outfit. Feathers, Phantom of the Opera face mask, pimp hat…there was just too much going on for the usually fierce chart-topper.

We know the VMAs are made for shocking people. Well, job well done, GaGa! But unfortunately, we’re shocked and saddened by the look.

The fierce fashionista and pop goddess supreme hit NYC last night to help some of music videos’ biggest directors, like Anthony Mandler, Chris Robinson and Jessy Terrero, celebrate at the 2nd Annual House Of Hype Directors Dinner.

She paired her shiny super suit with some out-of-this-world lace glasses and set the look off with her gorgeously curled blonde-streaked hair. It’s a look that if tried by a lesser star would look a complete mess, but for Rih, it’s a home run.

Actress/singer Selena Gomez starred in the Disney Channel original movie Princess Protection Program with her BFF Demi Lovato, and it looks like that’s exactly where she drew inspiration from for her look at last night’s Creative Arts Emmy Awards.

The 17-year-old starlet looked every bit like the teen royalty she is in her jewel encrusted strapless gown with her brown locks swept back in a loose bun and dangling earrings framing her face.

Not only was she a winner on the red carpet, but also at the show. She and her cast mates took home an Emmy for their DC hit show Wizards of Waverly Place.
