Here’s one place where parents can’t complain that Miley Cyrus is looking a bit too sexy: on the set of Sex and the City 2!

The 16-year-old singer/actress got smoochy with co-star and SATC legend Kim Cattrall while shooting scenes to the upcoming blockbuster on the streets of Manhattan yesterday (October 16).

Her wardrobe was on an entirely different level than we’re used to seeing Smiley Miley. She donned a shiny gold dress, elbow high leather gloves, and a spiked choker.

If only Miley was still on Twitter. She’d have the best tweets about his project. Sad face!

October 28 isn’t far away, so of course we’re being teased with more and more clips from Michael Jasckson’s “This Is It” movie. The documentary will chronicle the King of Pop’s rehearsals for what was to be his big come back concert series at London’s O2 Arena.

The latest bittersweet clip features a very thin, yet magical MJ rehearsing “Human Nature” from his landmark album, Thriller. Though he looks very frail, he never skips a beat practicing his much-imitated dance moves, and his voice was as strong as ever.

After all of the glitzy performances and awards were given out at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards was over, the network that first premiered Michael Jackson’s icon “Thriller” video treated viewers to the trailer of his last work, “This Is It,” the documentary of what was supposed to be his stage comeback.

The doc will be in theaters nationwide on October 28.

Mariah Carey made her way from Las Vegas to Toronto for the Toronto International Film Festival to participate in the press conference for her film Precious. The movie, based on the novel Push by Sapphire, is already getting Oscar buzz for Carey and her costars and has already taken home multiple awards at the Sundance Film Festival.

Precious is the gritty and inspiring story of a young girl facing abuse and incest that also stars actress/comedian Mo’nique, actress/model Paula Patton and Lenny Kravitz.

Chris Brown and T.I. are novices when it comes to acting, but that doesn’t stop them from bringing some added star power to “Takers,” a new movie about a group of expert bank robbers who consistently outwit the LAPD with their crafty heists. But all good things must come to an end eventually, and one detective is dead-set on ending the group’s reign of terror.

Originally called Bone Deep (a title Brown had hoped would change as to avoid any pornographic references), Takers also stars Idris Elba, Paul Walker, Hayden Christensen, and Matt Dillon.

The John Luessenhop-directed film will be in theatres February 19, 2010 according to IMDB.

Disney Channel rolled out their newest original movie tonight (June 26), the Demi Lovato and Selena Gomez fronted Princess Protection Program. Although Neon Limelight is all about the music, we couldn’t help catching the latest DCOM and sharing our view. The fact that both girls are also singers completely justifies us in doing this as well!

If you missed the premiere and you’re not quite sure if you want to catch the endless reruns this weekend, we put together a little pro and con list that may give you a little guidance. Warning: contains spoilers!

Con – Bad wigs
The dude presenting Rosalinda as Queen totally had a George Washington wig! His screen time was brief but it was painful to see each time. Whoa, fail!

Pro – The action started early
Within the first 10 minutes, Princess Rosalinda was threatened and shipped off into hiding in the PPP (Princess Protection Program). Way to get things jumping early on!

Con – Carter and Rosie: The Early Moments
Carter was completely too hard on Rosie as she made her transition from Princess to “normal” girl. Rosie was no saint though. She was pushy, more than slightly embarrassing and gave princesses a bad name early on. Ew!

Pro – Friendship Rules
After a rough start, Carter and Rosie eventually became BFFs. Rosie even shows Carter how to bring out the Princess from within.

Con – Brookie.
No one likes a villain–even if they turn slightly nice towards the end. You especially dislike this vilian when she has a high pitched, incredibly annoying voice! Chalk board much?

Pro – Chelsea
OK, so sometimes you do like the villain. Head bad girl Chelsea (played by former MTV Real World-er Jamie Chung) was a total bad arse. She even ended up getting exactly what she wanted–albeit wetter than she probably ever imagined.

Con – Predictable Ending
If you ran out of popcorn and needed to refill or drank too much soda and had to empty the tank and ended up missing the ending, no worries! You could probably guess what happens.

Pro – Closing Song
The movie ending with Two Worlds Collide off Demi’s debut album Don’t Forget? How fitting! And it scores major points since it is one of my favorite Demi songs.

Verdict: Demi and Selena’s real life friendship helps make the bond between Rosie and Carter believable. Selena has great comedic timing and Demi’s acting improved greatly from Camp Rock. Will I be jumping out of my chair singing the movie’s praises? Probably not. But I don’t feel like I wasted two hours of my life either.

This summer, singer/actresses Alyson Michalka of Aly & AJ and High School Musical star Vanessa Hudgens will participate in the biggest band competition around–well sorta. The former Disney darlings will appear in the new flick Bandslam (formerly Rock On or Will), based around the fictional battle of the bands.

Aly stars as Charlotte Barnes who is looking to create a band to whip her ex’s band into the ground at the competition and Vanessa plays outcast Sa5m (”the 5 is silent”) who eventually turns into the lead character’s love interest.

There may not be any Oscar award winning performances in this new movie but it looks like a whole lot of fun. Watch the movie’s official trailer above. Bandslam is set for an August 14th release.

Beyonce’s new flick Obsessed topped the weekend box office taking in $28.5 million in ticket sales.

In the Fatal Attraction-esque movie Beyonce plays the wife of a business man played by British actor Idris Elba who becomes the object of an office temp’s obsession. The temp is played by Heroes star Ali Larter.

Audiences undoubtably flocked to theaters to see Beyonce and Larter duke it out in the much hyped cat-fight shown in the movie’s promos.

This isn’t Beyonce’s first trip to the top of the box office charts. Beyonce helped Austin Powers in Goldmember reign in 2003 and Steve Martin’s Pink Panther remake also started on top in 2006.

Beyonce is never one to make a subtle fashion statement at events — or would that be her glitzy alter ego Sasha Fierce?

The 27-year-old pop beauty stepped out on the town last night for the New York screening of her latest acting endeavor in the movie Obsessed, in theatres starting today (April 24).

In the movie she plays an everyday-looking wife of a powerful businessman whose life is turned upside down by a “Fatal Attraction” temp, but the Mighty B was far from everyday at the event last night. She opted to wear a very flashy all sequenced mini skirt and a sparkling bustier with a long, ruffly train.

The look could seen as a bit over-the-top but it was classic Beyonce: ultra glam mermaid chic. The only downside: the 60-year-old lady pantyhose. But other than that…Loves!

Hannah Montana: The Movie brought in an estimated $34 million to top the Easter weekend box office, beating last weekend’s champ Fast & Furious 4 which drops to No. 2.

Hannah’s success earns Miley Cyrus her second No. 1 movie. In February of 2008, The Hannah Montana & Meet Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds 3D Concert Movie opened at No. 1 taking in $31.12 million.

Miley recently revealed to the Associated Press that this will more than likely be Hannah Montana’s only big screen movie. “I don’t know if I would do another (Hannah Montana) film, but I would love to do another season.” The Disney Channel original series is currently in its third season.
