Adam Lambert won’t even have an album out by Sunday, November 22, but he’s already one of the main draws for this year’s American Music Awards.

The breakout star of American Idol season 8 will perform his new single, the sizzling “For Your Entertainment,” live for the first time on the big stage at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles, joining other big names as performers like Whitney Houston, Taylor Swift, and Rihanna.

He rehearsed the performance tonight (November 19) with a bunch of sexy dancers backing him. Just judging by the photos, the performance looks steaming hot!

Chris Brown continued his trek to thank his fans for sticking by him this year, dubbed his “Fan Appreciation” tour, last night in Los Angeles with a sold out show at the Avalon.

This time around, he brought out some special guests including singer/songwriter Keri Hilson, who surprised the audience with a short medley of her own hits, and Ester Dean who joined Breezy for their club banger “Drop It Low.”

The show also included an epic dance tribute to Michael Jackson.

Washington DC was just a bit edgier last night when Canadian pop-punk rocker chick Fefe Dobson strolled into town to perform with her band at OMEGA’s 100-day countdown to the 2010 Olympic winter games.

She posed for pics dressed in warm layers and sporting an ultra-cute shag hair-do.

Fefe is performing in support of her new album, Joy, which is scheduled to hit stores early in 2010.

While some Backstreet Boys fans were busy breaking out their spooky video for Everybody (Backstreet’s Back) on this Halloween day, their fans in Mardid got the real thing.

Nick, AJ, Howie D and Brian performed at the Palacio de Vistalegre for a sea of excited fans as part of their current world tour. The tour is in support of their latest album, This Is Us, in stores now.

Paramore's Hayley Williams - Wireimage

Illness might be plaguing Tennessee punk-pop outfit Paramore, but that didn’t stop them from completely rocking out at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City Wednesday night (October 21).

The band had to postpone a few shows due to frontwoman Hayley Williams’s bout of laryngitis experienced very early on in the tour but there was no sign of the dreaded vocal chord affliction as they went through fan favorites from their breakout album RIOT! and selections from their recently released near-masterpiece Brand New Eyes.

Fans were clearly into the show. As Hayley performed their smash hit “Misery Business,” she found herself dodging a bra that was tossed on stage. She picked it up, swung it around, and tossed it back into the crowd without losing a bit of her rockin’ stride.

The 15-year-old pop/rock upstart made her mixed bag of influences known as she performed songs from her as-yet-untitled debut album, backed by a three-piece band. She channeled Pink, Katy Perry, and Fefe Dobson while bouncing around on stage with a zest that told her age and explained why she’s being called the “Bajan Miley Cyrus.” Luckily for Vita, her vocals are much stronger than the Hannah Montana star, as showcased in her closing number, the click-clacking bass-bumper “Like Boom.”

Lights Performs In Baltimore - Stacey Johnson/Neon Limelight

If the world of electro-pop is looking for a savior, it’s found it in LIGHTS. Not just because it’s the title of her US debut single, but because the 22-year-old Canadian sensation lives it, breathes it, and fights for it.

Along with unleashing her first full length album of synth-heavy sensitive yet kick-you-in-the-balls pop tunes on Tuesday (October 6), entitled The Listening, LIGHTS stars in her very own motion comic called Audio Quest: A Captain LIGHTS Adventure, showing on MTV and MTV.com.

LIGHTS rolled into Baltimore, MD on October 3 to play the second date of a 22-city US tour in support of The Listening. It was a city she longed to play after having to cancel earlier in the year due to illness — the only show she’s ever canceled. She made more than good on her promise to make it up to the crowd of fans that packed the standing room area only Sonar Lounge.

You don’t just see a LIGHTS show, you experience it. It’s like taking a voyage through a galaxy of sounds and emotions. With her beloved keytar in hand throughout most of the show, she performed album stand-outs like “Ice,” “River,” and “February Air,” which might be familiar to many TV viewers as it was used in an Old Navy campaign in 2008.

Lily Allen proved she can perform and remain fashionable in any setting.

The British pop star performed on one of the more innovative stages seen during Paris Fashion Week: Chanel’s barnyard style runway.

With a distressed wood gazebo sheltering the makeshift stage and hay all around, Allen rocked the crowd that included fearless fashion trendsetters Prince and Rihanna.

There was no end to the excitement tingles we felt when we heard Paramore would be breaking out their wit, charm, instruments, and, oh yeah, music to perform on MTV Unplugged. The band, lead by the awesomely cleaver and talented Hayley Williams, are sure to perform songs from their new album, Brand New Eyes, which will arrive in stores nationwide September 29, along with favorites from their breakthrough album, Riot!, like “CrushCrushCrush” and “Misery Business.”

MTV.com released some shots from the taping to tease us senseless until the concert goes live on their Buzzworthy Blog and Unplugged site on September 28.

Miley Cyrus did her best impression of a biker babe at the Los Angeles stop of her “Wonder World” tour which also stars her big brother’s Trace Cyrus‘ band, Metro Station.

As the night went on, the 16-year-old pop phenom’s wardrobe got even more interesting with leather shorts, a tutu, mock gowns, and a black coat with tails.

But let’s not forget there was also music and singing involved. Miley ran through hits old-ish and new like “7 Things,” “See You Again,” “The Climb” and “Party In The USA.”
