Scottish singing sensation Susan Boyle wowed the audience when she debuted her new single, the Rolling Stones remake Wild Horses, during the America’s Got Talent finale. She’s now ready to continue her quest for US superstardom when she performs on Dancing With The Stars.

People magazine reports that the singer will fly out to Los Angeles for the appearance and is super excited about the gig.

“She’s excited and happy,” her brother, John Boyle, says of his famous sis’ reaction to the appearance. “She loves America and loves the people. She appreciates their honesty.”

Her performance is set for next week.

Megastar Beyonce has spent the better part of 2009 touring the all over on her hugely successful I Am…World tour. Those who didn’t get a chance to see her when she dropped by their cities will now have the chance to see what the show was all about when Beyonce releases her brand new live CD and DVD, I Am…Yours: An Intimate Performance at Wynn Las Vegas.

Taped August 2nd during a four-show stint in Las Vegas, the CD/DVD will feature Beyonce performing her many hits including her chart toppers Crazy In Love, Irreplaceable and the iconic Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It). She’ll also take a stroll down memory lane with a medley of songs made famous with her former group, Destiny’s Child.

The set will be released on November 23rd, facing competition with big named acts like Rihanna and Adam Lambert, both releasing new full length albums the same day. Beyonce will surely receive a healthy sales boost during release week when she takes part in a Thanksgiving special November 26th. The hour-long special will air 9:00 p.m. EST on ABC.

Taylor Swift thought her performing appearance on Saturday Night Live in the beginning of this year was a dream come true so what would she call the big news of her hosting engagement?

“Mind-blowing.”

The young country/pop star is set to pull double duty on SNL when she hosts and acts as musical guest November 7th. Taylor, who is a long time fan of the show, would love the opportunity to create a digital short with funny man Andy Samberg.

“I’ve gone back and re-watched everything over the past couple of months and digital shorts would be so much fun to do, because they’ve been done so well,” the Associated Press quoted Swift as saying. “Andy Samberg is hilarious.”

There’s a party on DWTS!

Miley Cyrus will offer a sneak peek of her not-so-long-awaited, but highly-anticipated-ish video for her fun and dancey “Party In The USA” video on tomorrow’s (September 23) Dancing With The Stars results show, the singer posted on her official Facebook page.

MTV News confirmed that the 90-second snippet will air during the commercial break with the full length video premiering online the following day.

It’s yet to be seen if parents should be concerned over the video; Miley’s performance of the song in which she did a sexy dance on an ice cream cart pole in skimpy shorts on the Teen Choice Awards in August left a bad taste in parentals’ mouths all around the country.

Comedy and live music. That was reason enough to tune into the debut of The Jay Leno Show tonight, but it’s been announced that Kanye West will have a sit down chat with the late night king, reports the Associated Press.

West was already scheduled to perform “Run This Town,” a song led by Jay-Z and also features  Rihanna on the show, but following his highly publicized  MTV Video Music Award rant in which he stormed the stage to interrupt Taylor Swift as she accepted her Best Female Video award, producers scrambled to make time for West to talk.

“Yo, Taylor, I’m really happy for you and I’mma let you finish, but Beyonce had one of the best videos of all time,” he said as a stunned Swift looked on.

West has made two attempts to apologize to Swift via his official blog and is likely to try to offer an “I’m sorry” on the show.

Saturday Night Live returns sans axe for its 35th season with a packed line-up of hosts and musical guests. The season premiere, airing September 26, stars Transformers hottie Megan Fox as guest host, with uber-rockers U2 performing.

Lady GaGa will continue her world domination when she takes the SNL stage on October 3, with Shakira and Regina Spektor also set to perform on October 10 and 17 respectively.

“I fell asleep watching Free Willy…woke up with tears of joy on my pillow,” Kris tweeted yesterday. Just one of many wonderfully random–and possibly dirty–things he’s shared via the micro-blogging website.

But it was his revealing tweet made earlier this week that sent his fans into a frenzy: he shared just when his highly anticipated debut album will be released!

“Hey guys! The album is set to release Nov 17th,” Allen told his fans. Let the countdown begin!

28-year-old singer Christina Aguilera has been relatively quiet since the fanfare surrounding her greatest hits album, Keeps Gettin’ Better: A Decade of Hits, died down earlier this year. But all that’s about to change.

The powerhouse vocalist, who has been hard at work on her new album, sat down with E! for an eye opening chat on Christina Aguilera: An E! Entertainment Special.

During the interview, Xtina talks about the work on the new project, becoming a mother and she gets emotional when talking about her husband Jordan Bratman.

“Jordan just continuously makes me fall deeper and deeper in love with him everyday,” Christina said through tears. “I’m lucky to have him in my life.”

The full two-hour special is set to air on E! September 2nd at 9pm ET.

Noel Gallagher Leaves Oasis

Noel Gallagher, lead guitarist and songwriter from rock band Oasis, has decided to quit. He revealed the news in a statement posted on the band’s official website.

“It’s with some sadness and great relief to tell you that I quit Oasis tonight,” Noel wrote in the statement. Exact details for his departure we’re not given but he did go on to say: “People will write and say what they like, but I simply could not go on working with Liam [Gallagher] a day longer.”

The famously feuding Gallagher brothers and the rest of Oasis were on tour to support their latest release “Dig Out Your Soul.” In recent days, things appeared to be heading in the wrong direction with the band coming under fire after they were forced to pull out of a scheduled appearance at V Festival in Chelmsford, England due to Liam being ill.

“1st things first V I’m gutted your gutted,I’m sorry what can I say fuck all at the moment,” Liam wrote on Twitter in an apparent apology for the scrapped date.

Remaining dates on the band’s summer tour at the Rock Am See Festival in Germany and the I-Day Festival in Milan have been canceled according to Noel’s statement.

Whitney and Oprah will sit down for their chat on the premiere episode of the talk show giant’s 24th season on September 14, 2009. Oprah is calling the appearance “the most anticipated music interview of the decade.” You got that right!

Whitney Houston’s new album I Look To You will be released on August 31st.

R&B star Kelly Rowland, French DJ and producer extraordinaire David Guetta and Hip Hop star Flo Rida have all been confirmed to perform at the big show taking place next month. Perhaps for comedic relief, The Hills star Heidi Montag is also on the bill.

The Miss Universe Competition will air live from the Atlantis in Paradise Island, Bahamas on August 23rd at 9 PM ET on NBC.

On Thursday’s (July 9th) So You Think You Can Dance results show, Kelly and David will take the stage and perform their incredible dance song for the first time on US TV. Sounds like a match made in heaven!
