Haven’t quite recovered from the shock of superstar actress and singer Miley Cyrus deleting her Twitter account? Don’t worry! There’s about two million others that share the same sentiment and you’re all probably looking for answers. Swallow that chill pill and start to relax because Miley’s going to give them to you. And in a very colorful way.

The singer took to her popular Youtube account, slapped on a sideways cap and created a music video entitled Good-bye Twitter. With four background dancers sporting emo looking make-up and 90s street gear, Miley raps her reasons for leaving the popular micro-blogging website.

She dismisses rumors that her quitting had anything to do with rumored boyfriend Liam Hemsworth saying “No it wasn’t because my friend told me to. Y’all know very well what you say, I don’t do.”

Well then why Miley? The reason is simple she says: “I stopped living for moments and started living for people.”

Fair enough!

Tyson Ritter - Miko Lim

All-American Rejects fans know the band for playing shows regardless of illness or injury, but frontman Tyson Ritter found himself facing circumstances where his health had to be top priority whether he liked it or not.

AAR began canceling a number of shows in late September citing illness as the reason but didn’t go into any specifics. Rumors immediately began to swirl, with many resting on drug use as the culprit. Turns out it was actually an infection in Ritter’s knee that spread to his bloodstream that put the stop on the band’s shows.

In a video posted to AAR’s official YouTube channel, Ritter — looking a bit emaciated after losing 10 pounds during his hospitalization — explained his frightening ordeal, but assured fans he’s on the road to recovery. He also put the kabash on the drug rumors.

When American Idol season 8 runner-up Adam Lambert teamed with DonorsChoose.org to assist them in raising money to provide musical instruments and other supplies to schools that can’t afford them, he had no idea his fans would join in the way they did. The Glambert clearly underestimated his influence because he and his fans were able to raise a whopping $224,000 in less than two months!

Singer/songwriter Marie Digby has a real knack for choosing the perfect songs to cover on her YouTube page. There’s no scientific process to it — she picks them because she likes them.

After seeing Beyonce perform while both singers were in Japan for the Summer Sonic festival, Marie decided she really likes the Mighty B’s latest single, “Sweet Dreams,” from her album, I Am…Sasha Fierce.

Her soft and subtle acoustic rendition is a far cry from the synth-laden original, but that’s not to say it isn’t charming and just down right awesome.

Canadian rapper/actor Drake got together with r&b singer Trey Songz on Monday (August 10) to shoot the video for the pairs hit single Successful. The Jake Davis directed clip was shot in Toronto, Canada–one of Trey’s favorite places to film his videos.

Trey took fans behind the scenes of the shoot on his official website with a video blog. During his blog, they receive a visit from mutual friend actor/singer Jamie Foxx–talk about successful!

The song will be available on Trey’s new album Ready, due in stores September 1st.

The 20-year-old star is spending some time in Orlando, Florida enjoying the NBA playoffs and working on the follow-up to his smash sophomore album, Exclusive.

In Orlando with Brown is his good friend, rapper Bow Wow. The two were spotted court-side at the Magic vs Cavaliers game last night, and following the game they hopped in front of their webcam for a live broadcast on Bow’s Justin.tv channel where Chris briefly spoke out about what he’s been up to over the last few rough months for the first time since releasing a statement through his PR team in February.

“I just want to say what’s up ’cause I aint been out there in a minute,” he said bending down in front of the camera.

“The new album will be coming soon. We’re working on it right now. It’s called Graffiti.” He continued on in the clip to say he’d be releasing a single from the set this summer.

“We aint going nowhere! Everybody that’s haters, they just been hating. All my real fans, I love y’all. I aint a monster.”

The next court date in Brown’s assault case is Thursday (May 28). He’s not required to attend.

Chris Brown won’t make his comeback on a stage or in the studio if singer Spectacular of the R&B group Pretty Ricky has his way. Instead, he wants the 20-year-old star to meet him on YouTube for a “grind-off.”

Spec issued a dance challenge of sorts to some of today’s hottest young R&B stars, including Brown, Day26 and Trey Songz, to out grind him in a video posted to YouTube yesterday. In the video, he’s seen dancing erotically in nothing but an ill-fitting pair of underwear. Wrongness!

It’s such a shame that Barbados-born pop singer and Neon Limelight fav Shontelle is constantly hounded for information about her pal and fellow Bajan singer Rihanna when there are better things to talk about…like her epic debut album, Shontelligence. She’s taken the “no comment” approach when asked for deets since the Grammy-morning altercation between Rihanna and Chris Brown made world-wide news, but in a recent interview she gave a bit more information that caused quite a stir among fans of the 21-year-old “Umbrella” singer.

“As far as I know they broke up,” she told Fort Wayne, Indiana radio station Hot 107.9. “I’m not asking any questions. That’s their personal lives but I’m just glad to know that she’s back up and she is having the time of her life.”

The tiny tidbit led to a huge outpouring of comments on Rihanna’s biggest fansite with most users going at Shontelle for saying too much about her friend’s situation. Some even questioned whether the two were friends at all.

During a live chat held for fans last night (April 26), Shontelle made a video reply to the controversy in hopes of deading the drama.

“When I think of Rih, I think about my little sister. I love her like my little sister,” she said in the video. “As far as everyone asking me about the personal RiRi questions, you know, the only thing I can say to that is it’s personal.”

We’ve already learned today that cover songs can go wrong–very wrong. But when you’re the Queen of cover songs, it seems they all come out so right. Such is the case for Youtube sensation and Neon Limelight favorite Marié Digby.

Marié is best known for her addictive acoustic cover of Pop princess Rihanna’s 2007 smash hit Umbrella but she’s been making a steady stream of covers via her official Youtube channel. Her latest undertaking is the Ciara and Justin Timberlake hit single Love Sex Magic.

Digby puts her signature brand of Pop/Folk on the track and the results are pure fire! She always has a way of making a song her own.

Marié’s sophomore album, Breathing Underwater, will be in stores June 23rd.
